The government has allowed the Yerevan Seminary named after Anania Shirakatsi to organize training in English

At a meeting on February 23, the Government of Armenia gave permission to CJSC "Yerevan Lyceum named after Ananiy Shirakatsi" International Scientific and Educational Complex" to organize training in a foreign language (in English: This will allow the Yerevan International Scientific and Educational Complex "Anania Shirakatsi Lyceum" to continue the International Baccalaureate Diploma program in English for a period of 3 years in the 11th and 12th grades of the third degree of secondary education from 2023/2024 academic year:
In 2016-2023, out of 123 graduates of the program, 24 (or 20%) are citizens of other countries, and 21 of them are Armenians by nationality, which makes it possible for Armenian youth with insufficient knowledge of their native language to graduate from high school in their homeland, receiving an education that meets international standards:

Due to the current policy of the RA government, an influx of Armenian families from the Diaspora is predicted. The opportunity to provide education for children in high school will contribute to the decision of families to move to their homeland.

Since during the implementation of the program, teachers are constantly being retrained by foreign specialists, as a result, a pedagogical community is being formed that has qualifications in accordance with international standards.
